GUNNERSBURY CATHOLIC SCHOOL

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS 2024

Gunnersbury’s phenomenal 2024 GCSE and A-Level results reflect our position as one of the leading schools in the country.  In fact, our GCSE achievement places Gunnersbury Catholic School in the top 2% of all schools nationally. Incredibly, 90% of our boys succeeded in achieving grades 9-4 in both English and Mathematics: an incredible 23% higher than the national average.  Our pupils’ incredible results have, once again, secured the position of Number 1 School in the borough for GCSE attainment.  Ad Altiora is certainly being realised at Gunnersbury!

Our students’ GCSE results in the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Religious Studies continue in their excellence - far exceeding national trends.  Each of these subjects pass rates were in excess of 20% above national averages.

55 of our pupils secured a full set of the very highest GCSE grades and over 40% of our Year 11s secured 5 or more grades which were all ‘A’ or above with respect to the previous grading system for GCSE.
