The concert band is open to all boys and is  a vital starting point for many of our young instrumentalists to further their musical and technical skills, enjoyment of learning and playing their instrument.  The Gunnersbury Concert Band is always proud to show off the stylistic and musical talents of its members.  It hosts a wide range and variety of music, from classical overtures to popular songs and well-known classics.

A talented team of professional musicians and teachers led by  the school's Director of Music, Mr Hui, guides  our talented musicians  through an exciting and challenging programme each year.  In addition to performing at the school's formal concerts every year - the St Cecelia concert, Christmas concert, Easter concert and spring concert - they also play at many local events, fundraisers, fetes, and for local organisations and feeder primary schools.

New members to the band are always welcome and rehearsals take place at lunchtimes in the newly refurbished practice rooms and on the John Heffernan Stage.
