2016 Sixth Form Success

We are delighted to say that it has once again been a year of fantastic A-Level success at Gunnersbury Catholic School.
Students and staff are elated by the outcomes of their exceptional efforts. These efforts enabled 33% of all grades secured to be at A* and A, and an outstanding 90% of all A levels were grades A* to C. The average points score per student was 836, equivalent to each student securing, on average, grades AAB, and many achieved beyond this. Twenty students achieved three or more A* and A grades.
Headteacher, Kevin Burke, said: “The talents and hard work of our senior students, supported by their families and our teachers, have once again realised tremendous success. We are proud of every one of our young men and women receiving their results today. These outstanding grades underline the real academic strengths of Gunnersbury Catholic School and will enable ‘our class of 2016’ to make a great start to the next stage of their lives. It is with great excitement and anticipation that our Year 13 students now embark upon: undergraduate studies at top universities, great careers, travels in their gap year. I wish them all good luck and much future success.”
