Record breakers !

Gunnersbury staff enter Guiness Book of Records

Staff from the school's admin team were amongst the 373 'penguins' who took part in the annual Penguin Dash this week, held at Canary Wharf.  Ms Kennerson, Mrs Bean, Mrs Kehoe, Ms Pearce and Mrs Wallace, dressed in their obligatory penguin costumes ran, jogged, walked (mostly !) and waddled the 2 kilometre course, raising monies for the Richard House, an organisation that supports families whose children and young adults are at risk of death from a life-limiting health condition.

Their sterling efforts earned them a place in the famous Guiness World Record book for the title of largest number of people dressed as penguins in one place !

The ladies have held onto their costumes, so we may very well see the penguins make an appearance at some point in the future ...

Well done, Ms Kennerson, Mrs Bean, Mrs Kehoe, Ms Pearce and Mrs Wallace !
