Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA):
The Gunnersbury Association (GA) is the community for all families and friends of Gunnersbury Catholic School. The GA's purpose is to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, building the sense of community and (we hope) having a good time while raising funds to support our children's education.
The Association helps the school and our students at various functions like the School Production, Summer BBQ, Speech Night and Quiz Night, combining also activities to raise much needed funds. We also support the school with hand-on projects that help our children in professional development or other areas.
We have three main areas of focus: Create Stronger Connections, Provide Hands-on support (Professional Development) and Raise More Funds (easy giving, corporates, grants, etc).
The PTA meets once a term to discuss plans and priorities.

GIVING MADE EASY
The Gunnersbury Association is a registered charity. We raise money to help make the school a better place for our children. In the past, we have funded sports kit and kitchen equipment, among other things.
As parents we can support the school in many ways. For example, offering careers advice to the students, joining the committee, attending events or just signing up to The Giving machine online and The Giving Scheme at work.
You can easily support the school with these two giving methods:
1. The Giving Machine. Give As You Shop (at no extra cost to you!):
The Giving Machine generates income for the school by converting online purchase commissions into donations at no extra cost to you.
a. Go to: https://www.thegivingmachine.co.uk/
b. Search our cause: Gunnersbury Catholic School
c. Click to join and support our case: Give your details, and gift aid if you can
d. Shop in your favourite online places via The Giving Machine to get a donation to the school of up to 4.5%, depending on the shop.
2. Give As You Earn or Giving Scheme: Easy and tax efficient giving:
Your donations will come from your salary before tax, making your gift go further. Can be started, stopped and changed at any time. If your employer is enrolled in a Payroll Giving Scheme (or Give As You Earn), ask your Payroll office for the relevant form. If your employer is not registered in the scheme, let us know to help you get them enrolled. It’s easy!
