The school library and resource centre is a quiet and welcoming part of Gunnersbury and provides excellent facilities to provide for independent learning, information literacy and to promote reading for pleasure. The library supports the curriculum that is offered in all year groups, from Year 7 to Year 13 and offers a wide range of study materials and fiction and non-fiction for recreational reading.   In addition to holding over 8,000 titles, the library subscribes to a number of subject specific journals and daily newspapers.  Computers are also available for independent research and study.

In addition to supporting the calendared Literacy Weeks that take place across the school, the library hosts a varied range of reading related activities; these include reading groups, World Book Day and World Poetry Day, quizzes and competitions.
