With 86% of pupils securing 5 A*-Cs including English and Maths in their GCSEs, Gunnersbury continues a trend of high performance for our Year 11 boys !
33% of all GCSE grades were A*and A
30% of boys attained 5 or more grades A*and A
56% of boys gained the English Baccalaureate
All of these phenomenal results are set against a national picture where the top grades A*-A dropped to 21% and grades A*-C (including English and Maths) held steady at 69%. WIth a national debate taking place around 'traditional' academic subjects, Gunnersbury boys' results in English, Maths, Science and Modern Languages have all risen, bucking the national trends :

86% of boys secured grades A* to C in Maths
99% of boys secured grades A* to C in Additional Science
96% of boys secured grades A* to C in Further Additional Science
92% of boys secured grades A* to C in French
100% of boys secured grades A* to C in Spanish
We are extremely proud of our boys’ outstanding GCSE results, and are particularly delighted with the exceptional showing in the traditional core academic subjects. Our boys continue to perform superbly in these core subjects, assuring the academic rigour and breadth which the very best universities demand.
In addition to all boys attaining grades A* to C in Spanish, boys sitting DT (Graphics) and Music all secured grade C or higher.
