On Friday 29th February three members of our debating team took part in the regional final of the Rotary Youth Speaks competition. Having previously won the Hounslow heat the pressure was on to deliver in the regional final. The boys had meticulously prepared for the evening and the competition was fierce! Their topic was 'Living in a surveillance society' and was welcomed by the judges with great praise given to their planning, preparation and delivery. They were awarded the coveted Rotary trophy and also best opposer speech. A fantastic evening for our students, representing the school and their debating talents.
